Houssem Saadaoui
I am a Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineer passionate about transforming ideas into innovative, high-performance engineering solutions. Holding a double degree in Mechatronics Engineering from ESPRIT and Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Modeling, Structural Analysis, and Optimization (MCOP) from ISMANS CESI. My journey has been shaped by projects spanning mechanical design, finite element analysis, automation, and product development.
I am driven by solving complex engineering challenges and delivering practical, production-ready solutions. Mechanical Development Engineer - Final Year Project• Internship / PFE
Designed a biocapsule for organic waste valorization - 40 parts across 5 sub-assemblies - from concept through the full definition dossier, including 25 dimensioned and toleranced drawings per ISO 2768/1101/1302 with tolerance stack-ups and fits. Structured the product's technical data (BOM, assembly tree, revision indices, change traceability) for a PDM/PLM environment. Ran FEA on static and vibration behavior; structural optimization achieved an 18% mass reduction at equivalent stiffness. Wrote 3 technical dossiers and led prototyping, testing, and validation with 4 suppliers, cutting prototyping lead time by 20%.

Conducted a feasibility study for a vibration monitoring system, including costing and installation recommendations. Engineering Degree – Mechanical Modeling, Simulation & Optimization (MCOP)


I pursued an engineering degree in Mechanical Structure Modeling & Optimization (MCOP) at ISMANS CESI in France. This program strengthened my expertise in mechanical design, numerical simulation, finite element analysis, and structural optimization. Through advanced engineering projects, I developed skills in CAD modeling, mechanical validation, material selection, and product development, with a strong focus on designing efficient and reliable mechanical systems. My final-year project at Arkeale, Strasbourg, allowed me to apply these skills in an industrial R&D environment, working on the design and optimization of a biocapsule for organic waste valorization.

I completed my engineering degree in Mechatronics Engineering at ESPRIT Engineering School in Tunisia. This multidisciplinary program provided a strong foundation in mechanics, electronics, embedded systems, automation, and robotics. During this program, I worked on several engineering projects involving robotic systems, industrial automation, CNC machines, and intelligent mechanical systems, combining hardware and software solutions. This experience allowed me to develop a system-level engineering approach, from concept design and prototyping to control, integration, and validation.
