Context
Technical maintenance and diagnostic study of a conventional parallel lathe, aiming to improve equipment reliability and identify the causes of mechanical degradation.
Constraints
The diagnosis had to work from inspection of existing, in-service equipment rather than a clean-sheet design, and result in maintenance recommendations that were actually actionable on the shop floor.
